This painting depicts designs associated with the claypan and rockhole sites of Lampintja and Tjulnpanya on the south side of Lake MacDonald. A group of women camped at this site gathering the mungilypa or samphire seeds from the small fleshy sub-shrub Tecticornia verrucosa. These seeds are then ground into a paste which is cooked in the coals to form a type of unleavened bread. The women then traveled north-east through Kuunkunya and Putjana.
